It was a tough morning for Jumbo Giants Ember as they came up against a strong Dazzle FC side at Trinity/Spring opener.
Ember started with energy and stayed organized early, keeping the game tight and competitive. Dazzle FC took the lead before halftime, but the boys stayed focused and continued to fight for every ball.

In the second half, Ember kept pushing forward and were rewarded when Mohammad found the back of the net to get the team on the scoresheet. That goal gave the squad a lift and showed the quality we know this group has.
Dazzle FC added more goals late on to close out the game 5-1, but Ember didn’t stop working and played with heart until the final whistle.
Coach’s Word
“The boys played well today being the opener of the term, but I feel we need to work on their mental strength more. They played with courage but were scared of the opponent’s height and physicality, so it disrupted our game plan. We look forward to the next match.”

Takeaway
The scoreline doesn’t tell the full story. Ember showed fight, created chances, and never gave up. That’s the standard we build on.
Back to training, back to improving. Proud of the effort today, boys.
