60 Days, Countless Touches: Jumbo Giants U10 Juggling Challenge Comes to a Glorious End

Last week, the Jumbo Giants training ground was full of energy, cheers, and flying footballs as our U10s wrapped up their 60-day Juggling Challenge. What started as a simple daily touch-count mission ended as a showcase of grit, focus, and serious ball mastery.

For 60 days straight, these young Giants showed up, practiced, and pushed their limits. From kids who could barely get 2 touches on day 1, to players stringing together smooth, controlled juggles by day 60 - the growth was unreal. The final day wasn’t just training. It was a celebration. Each child stepped up to showcase what they’d learnt. Smiles, nerves, dropped balls, then bounced-back juggles. Pure football joy.

The Final Leaderboard

The challenge was simple: most consecutive juggles without the ball touching the ground. Each child had 3 trials. Here are the top 6 master jugglers:

1. Tomisin - 40 juggles

Tomisin was in a class of his own. Calm, focused, and technically sound. 40 juggles set the bar high and he never let it go.

2. Yemi - 14 juggles

Yemi’s consistency paid off. That curly hair was bouncing with every touch as he locked down 2nd place.

3. Jae - 13 juggles

Jae kept fighting till the final moments. 13 clean juggles says it all.

4. Ayomide - 11 juggles - 4th place Ivory

Ayomide showed serious improvement. 11 juggles is no small feat for a U10.

5. Anthony - 10 juggles

6. Aman - 10 juggles - 6th place Ember

Anthony and Aman both hit double digits with 10 juggles each.

More than a competition

This wasn’t just about numbers. The 60-day challenge taught discipline, patience, and confidence. Kids learnt that mastery comes from repetition. They encouraged each other, celebrated personal bests, and proved that hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work.

To every U10 who took part: you’re all winners. Every child who stuck it out for 60 days walked away a better footballer.
